Furred Tongue Orchid, Leafless Tongue Orchid [Cryptostylis hunteriana]
Flowering time: Late December to January
Habitat: Rare and apart from one location in open forest in the far-east, it is mainly confined to grasstree plains east from Marlo
Notes: Very rare in Victoria, known populations go into decline and become difficult to find as habitat becomes overgrown; flowering usually doesn't occur until the second year after the habitat has been burnt.
Status: VULNERABLE across Australia, ENDANGERED in Victoria
